Diablo 2 was incredibly influential and set a new standard for action-RPGs for PC and becoming one of Blizzard's most important pillars. It's evident as to the reason as some aspects of the game's classic characteristics show through. However, regardless of whether you like the streamlining of Diablo 3's gameplay system it is important to acknowledge that the game has grown in significant ways once you put off the rose-colored glasses. Things like difficult inventory management, the relatively basic design of the levels, and the arduous process to retrieve your gear in the event of your death have all shown their age, naturally. While stamina is to the way you tackle combat however, it's a major inconvenience from an exploration perspective. Diablo 2 Resurrected has been an enjoyable experience, but the stamina system is essential to observe the growth of the genre.
