NBA 2K23 Reviewed: Great Basketball, Bloated Hubs
NBA 2K23 offers a adjustment to the course of the franchise by offering improved gameplay, deeper immersion in MyCareer with new Seasons and more. Following a rather disappointing experience last year, NBA 2K is back with a better version of NBA 2K23.
2K23 shines the most on the court, which is the essential aspect, but it is plagued by excessively bloated hubs in its most renowned mode of MyCareer. The W also feels like something that was more of an afterthought rather than the full-blown mode, at least , it's got gaming and graphics improvements.
It's still a blast to play. Thankfully, there are plenty of opportunities for fans through MyCareer, MyTeam, and the extensive League along with GM modes to make up for issues with The City on current-gen consoles and The Neighborhood on last-gen.
At the heart of the question of how good any entry within the NBA 2K franchise is lies in how great it feels to play a basketball game
